Which one do I like better?

Do you also have products that are very different in price but are almost equal in quality? I do! But maybe I do like one better than the other one. I'm talking about the Filmstar bronze and glow from Charlotte Tilbury and The Hoola bronzer from Benefit.

Bronze and glow - Hoola
I want to start by saying I love how pigmented they both are. But the Hoola bronzer is a little bit too pigmented for me. When I take an appropriate amount of the Hoola bronzer on my brush and apply it to my face it go's bright orange for some reason. But on the other hand a big plus side is that it blends really well so that kinda solves that problem. but still, when I put the same amount of the Bronze and glow bronzer on my brush and apply it to my face, that doesn't happen.
I also think that because the Hoola bronzer has a little bit more of an orange ondertone it is a bronzer I would more likely wear in the summer. While the Bronze and glow bronzer goes with every season in my opinion. I also think that the Bronze and glow bronzer would match more skintones than the Hoola bronzer would. Overall you can say The bronze and glow bronzer from Charlotte Tilbury is my absolute favorite and the Hoola bronzer is a very close runner up.

1 palette, 3 looks

Can I just start by saying I love this palette so mutch. It's the Vice 4 palette from Urban Decay. It has such a great variety of colors. Some Beautiful and gradiant metallics, very beautiful shimmers and a few matte shades. I can create so many looks with this palette. So I thought I would show you some of my favorite looks.

The first look is a very simple one because I used only two eyeshadows.
First you take a blendingbrush and apply the shade bitter all over you crease. Blend it really well and make sure you blend it a little bit above your crease as well. Then take a regular flat eyeshdowbrush and apply beat all over your lid. You will probably have to apply a couple of layers to get the blue as pigmented as possible. And voila, you're done. This is very simple but oh so beautiful. Perfect for when you're going out at night.

This look is a lot brighter than the one before. This is also a very simple one. They're all really simple ones actually. But simple can also be very beautiful. First you are gonna blend bitter in your crease. Then take 1985 on that same brush and blend it in with bitter in your crease. Then apply fast-ball all over your lid. Then apply underhand in the outer corner of your eye and bring it slighly into the crease. This will create a slight crease-cut effect. After that I did use something that is not from the palette. I used Silver loose pearls from Yves Rocher. This will make your eyes extra sparkly. You don't have to add this but I think it looks very pretty. You don't really see the glitter but it's there.

The last look is again a little bit darker. This time also start by bleding bitter in your crease. I just think it is the best crease/blending shade there is. It matches with every other shade and it's just the perfect transition shade. So you'll probably see thise shade a lot more in the future. Next you apply delete in the outer corner of your eye and work it in the crease and to make the look even more smokey, apply deadbeat also in the outer corners. You can really build the darker shades according to how dark you want your look to be.

Voila, these were the three looks I created for you. Ofcourse you can apply eyeliner if you want to. I never do because I don't like the way it looks on my eyes. But feel free to wing it. My favorite look is the second one because I love how it makes my blue eyes pop. Tell me what your favorite look is and if you would want me to do more posts like this.

Let's talk nails

From the moment I grew my first teeth I started biting my nails and I never stopped. I never really bothered until I got to an age where it did bother me. I wanted long pretty nails so I went to a nail studio for the first time. Going to a nail studio every month wasn’t an option because it costs 5 euro’s. Growing my nails also wasn’t an option because every time I got bored I bit them again. Then I read a blog about applying fake nails yourself. So the next day I went to the nearest drugstore and bought myself a nail kit for only 9 euro’s.  It contains 260 nails in 10 different shapes and they’re all white so you can paint them the color you want. I love it! If you also bite your nails and you want to find a cheap but very good solution for long pretty nails, go find yourself a nail kit like this! I got mine at Kruidvat. I think this store only locates in Belgium and the Netherlands. But I’m a 100% sure you can find it in your local drugstore.

                       856 - 15 - 855 - the white bunny - sea sky

I also wanted to show you some of my favorites nail polishes of the moment. The first 3 are the long lasting nail polishes from Hema. They only cost 2.50 euro’s and they last so long! They can last a whole week without chipping. I also just love the colors. They’re all different kinds of nudes. One plain nude (856), one nude with a red tone (855) and one nude with a slightly more brown tone (15). I have a fair skintone and they go surprisingly well with that.
On the other hand, I also like very bright colors like the Maybelline super stay nailpolish in sea sky and the essence effect nail polish in the white bunny. The one from Maybelline is just a bright baby blue color and the one from essence is a matte white color. Totally in love with these colors. There is a price difference between the two but I can honestly say that there is almost no difference in quality. They both last a very long time.

Simple makeup look for school

Every evening I promise myself I'm gonna wake u little bit earlier to do this really awesome makeup look for school. But when my alarm clock goes off in the morning I'm just too tired so I snooze it and go back to sleep. So I'm just going with this look because it only takes 10 minutes and it still looks pretty good. You could say this is my everyday makeup look.
As you can see I don't put any makeup on my nose because I don't like the way it looks.
Also, my brows and lashes were already done because I had some classes this morning.

The products I used:
- Catrice Prime and fine anti-red base
- Rimmel match perfection spf 18 foundation in 100 ivory
- Rimmel stay matte pressed powder in 003 peach glow and 006 warm beige
- Maybelline fit me concealer
- Benefit hoola bronzer
- Mac sheertone shimmer blush in dollymix
- Benefit high beam liquid highlighter
- UB naked 3 palette Dust, Limit, Nooner and factory
- Kiko matte lipstick in 601

I'm thinking about doing more video's of makeup looks so if you have any suggestions please leave a comment.

Two weeks ago I went to Disneyland Paris for a couple of days with my family. Since Paris is only a few miles from Disneyland I tought it would be a great idea to go shopping there. They don't sell a lot of famous makeup brands in Belgium so this was an awesome oppertunity for me to get some stuff I really wanted. I went to Sephora, Kiko and a drugstore. In Sephora I bought the Urban Decay Vice palette. These colors are so beautiful. There are some metallic colors, a few mattes and some that are very shimmery. What I love about it the most is that it aren't colors I'm used to. I like experimenting and I find this the perfect colors to do with. The eyeshadows are so pigmented and they last super long. I can easily say this is the favourite thing I bought. There are two more things I bought in Sephore and that are the Too Faced better than sex mascara and there #tfnofilter selfie powders. I haven't tried the mascara yet but I did try the selfie powders. I don't know, maybe it's because I use them wrong but I don't see the difference when I apply them. Maybe some of you have tried it already and can give me some tips? Next thing I bought is a cream blush and highlighter from Kiko. I never used cream products before and I'm glad I did. It is so easy to apply and the color is so much more pigmented. Exepect the cream highlighter is a little bit too shimmery for me. It kinda looks like somebody threw some glitter on my face. I also bought a gorgeous matte lipstick and a lip pencil. The lip pencil looks a lot like 'soar' from Mac but this one is less expensive. After Kiko and Sephore I entered a drugstore and when I saw the box with the limited edition mascara from L'Oreal I just had to have it. It comes with a normal black one and the other one is glittermascara. Not something I would wear on a daily basis but it could be fun for the holidays. I really enjoyed my trip and I'm very excited about everything I purchased.

My top 4 foundations

As you can see, my foundations all have different shades. That's because in the winter, I am suuuper pale. When I put on the lightest shade, the Catrice all matt foundation in 'light beige', I still sometimes have to mix it with MAC studio face and body foundation in white because I'm that pale. My number one foundation will always be the Rimmel match perfection in '100 ivory'. In the summer I always get a little tanned so I can wear something a little darker. This one is my all time favorite. It really blends well and doesn't melt on my face during the day. It is not a matt foundation so it gives a nice glow and it is the perfect foundation for taking pictures. My skin always looks great! The Catrice all matt foundation in 'light beige' comes in second place. Like I explained, I only wear this one in the winter when I look as white as a ghost. And for the winter I love a matt look. This one stays one for so long. This is my only foundation that doesn't need a primer and in the winter I kinda get lazy so that's perfect! In third comes the L'Oreal infallible 24H-matte foundation in '11 vanilla'. It is a very nice foundation, it's just that it is too pink on my face. All the other shades are too dark for me so I tried this one but I don't like it that mutch. I will probabely use it when I run out of another foundation and don't have the time to go buy a new one. Then comes my least favorite foundation and it is the L'Oreal true match foundation in 'rose vanilla'. Also too pink for my face. That is ofcourse my mistake for picking the wrong shade but that's really not the only thing I don't like about it. Everybody is so fond of it but not me. I don't like how it looks on my face and I find that I need a lot of product before it actually covers something. This was my top 4. The fifth foundation in the picture is the MAC studio one I mentioned before. I use it to mix with other foundations that are to dark for my skin.

How I make my foundation last all day.

Catrice Prime and Fine Anti-Red Base

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
When I Apply my makeup I want it to last all day, I'm sure everybody does. But we can't do that without some help. That's why I use these two products. Before I apply my foundation I will apply the Catrice Anti-Red base. The color of this base is green so it neutralizes the redness on my face. My cheeks and nose tend to get very red so this is perfect! And it really works. After I applied all my makeup I will set it with the Urban Decay Setting Spray. I don't have an oily skin so I use the regular one but there also is one for oily skintypes. I find that the Setting Spray gives my makeup a nice glow and it let's my skin breathe. These products will always be my go-to for a longlasting look.
