A few weeks ago I started this monthly subscription box and today it finally came in the mail. From now on every month I will recieve a box with some cute and fun stuff in it. This box is from Marzia Bisognin or CutiepieMarzie on Youtube. She puts this box together herself. Every month the box has a theme and this month was Halloween ofcourse. I thought it would be a good idea to share this with you. I think this is so great. Even though you pay for it, you don't know what you're getting so it's like getting presents every month. What's not to love about that.
I just finished my 28 days TEAtox. The tea is called Tiny tea and is from the brand yourtea. Lately detoxing with tea is very popular so I tought I'd give it a try. So for 28 days I drank one 3 times a day 30 minutes before or after a meal. When the box arrived and I opend it for the first time the smell really overwelmed me. I wasn't really a fan of the smell but I got used to it pretty quickly. The taste is actually quit okay. Nothing special really.
Normally I put some honey in my tea but I didn't do that with this one because I didn't think I was supposed to. I kinda missed that little bit of extra sweetness. Tea on it's one has a very strong taste and honey always makes it better in my oppinion. The tea is not only supposed to cleanse and nourish your digestive system but also to reduce sugar cravings and prevent bloating. So now, did it work or not? I have to say yes and no. It really helped with the bloating. I don't feel so bloated after I eat anymore and that was an actual problem before. So I'm very happy that stopped. But with the sugar cravings it didn't do mutch. Everyday I still craved choclate and all the good sweet stuff. Kinda wanted that to stop because all the choclate is not doing me good. Besides that I feel very good and my skin looks great so overall I don't regret trying this. It was a nice new experience and I will definetly do this again. Yourtea offers a lot of other teas for different things like tea that helps with reducing stress and helping you sleep better or get rid of acne and so on. I will let you know when I try a different one. As you can see, my foundations all have different shades. That's because in the winter, I am suuuper pale. When I put on the lightest shade, the Catrice all matt foundation in 'light beige', I still sometimes have to mix it with MAC studio face and body foundation in white because I'm that pale. My number one foundation will always be the Rimmel match perfection in '100 ivory'. In the summer I always get a little tanned so I can wear something a little darker. This one is my all time favorite. It really blends well and doesn't melt on my face during the day. It is not a matt foundation so it gives a nice glow and it is the perfect foundation for taking pictures. My skin always looks great! The Catrice all matt foundation in 'light beige' comes in second place. Like I explained, I only wear this one in the winter when I look as white as a ghost. And for the winter I love a matt look. This one stays one for so long. This is my only foundation that doesn't need a primer and in the winter I kinda get lazy so that's perfect! In third comes the L'Oreal infallible 24H-matte foundation in '11 vanilla'. It is a very nice foundation, it's just that it is too pink on my face. All the other shades are too dark for me so I tried this one but I don't like it that mutch. I will probabely use it when I run out of another foundation and don't have the time to go buy a new one. Then comes my least favorite foundation and it is the L'Oreal true match foundation in 'rose vanilla'. Also too pink for my face. That is ofcourse my mistake for picking the wrong shade but that's really not the only thing I don't like about it. Everybody is so fond of it but not me. I don't like how it looks on my face and I find that I need a lot of product before it actually covers something. This was my top 4. The fifth foundation in the picture is the MAC studio one I mentioned before. I use it to mix with other foundations that are to dark for my skin.
Besides my phone and my wallet, I also keep some beauty stuff in my purse. First of all, the lipstick that I am wearing that day is always in there. After I ate something, my lipstick probably faded a little bit and we don't want to run around with smudged lipstick for the rest of the day. I also keep some blush in there and my sunglasses. The sun doesn't really shine that mutch in Belgium but I love them so why not wear them. I also keep a hairtie and some clips in my purse. You never know when your hair starts to do some weird stuff and you need something to fix it. Hairties and clips are my true saviors at that point. Sometimes I will put more stuff in my purse but these are the things that I will always bring with me.
ps: I'm sorry for the bad quality of the photo. The lighting wasn't good at all but I tried to make it as good as possible. It will be better next time. |
